West Islip Resident Robert Kane Reported Missing

The search is on for a Long Island man who was reported missing.

04/02/2024 1:00 p.m.

Robert Kane, age 74, was last seen on Arcadia Drive in West Islip at around 11 p.m. Monday, April 1.

Suffolk County Police said Kane suffers from dementia and may be in need of medical attention.

At the time of his disappearance, he was driving a black 2024 Land Rover Defender with New Jersey registration 873161T.

Kane is 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and a black back brace.
